Spring blooming bulbs herald the hope of warmer weather. If you didn’t plant any last year, make a note to plant more this coming fall. They fill everyone with joy and dreams of warm summer days. As they finish blooming the herbaceous perennials begin to flower. It is not surprising that many noteworthy spring blooming perennials are grown in part shade to full shade.

At Plant Paradise Country Gardens, we grow thousands of perennials every year and when choosing new perennials to grow we are very selective. We have added over 76 new perennials to our already extensive perennial catalog. This year, plants for bees, butterflies and beneficials continue to add beauty and benefit to the garden. The new, hardy introductions of Agastache ‘Kudos’ Series are worthy additions to the garden. Agastache ‘Kudos Coral’ is a compact, hardy hyssop that blooms June until frost. Great for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. (Photo: Terra Nova Nurseries)
